  Misamis Occidental has made history by winning the Overall Championship at the 2025 Northern Mindanao Regional Athletic Association (NMRAA) meet, marking the province’s first-ever victory in this prestigious competition. Represented by One Asenso MisOcc , the province dominated the event with an impressive 94 gold medals, bringing their total medal count to 230, which also includes 77 silver and 59 bronze medals.
