Oaminal, continues to implement its flagship Baratong Bugas para sa Misamisnon (BBM) Program in Ozamiz City. The initiative provides high-quality, locally sourced rice at a subsidized rate of ₱30 per kilo. Aimed at easing the financial burden on low-income households, the BBM Program allows each eligible family to purchase up to 25 kilos of rice at the discounted price. The rice is sourced directly from local farmers, creating a dual-benefit approach: making rice more affordable for consumers while increasing income for agricultural producers.   Misamis Occidental — In a major step toward building safer and more resilient communities, the Provincial Government of Misamis Occidental, through the Provincial General Services Office headed by Daisy Romero, distributed the fourth batch of 71 brand-new rescue and patrol vehicles to barangays across the province under the Asenso Misamis Occidental program. The distribution covered 18 barangays in Oroquieta City, 12 in Tangub City, 13 in Jimenez, 4 in Lopez Jaena, 5 in Tudela, 9 in Plaridel, 4 in Baliangao, and 6 in Bonifacio. “Having dedicated rescue vehicles stationed in our barangays ensures that we can respond quickly and effectively to save lives, deliver aid, and protect our people,” the provincial leadership emphasized.
