Training for Gold: Athletes and Coaches gear up for 2023 NMRAA 2024 in Camiguin
Misamis Occidental-- As the
Northern Mindanao Regional Athletic Association (NMRAA) approaches, the One
Asenso MisOcc athletes are intensifying their training regimen in preparation
for the sports competition in Camiguin. The athletes have been diligently
training every day to prepare for the NMRAA 2024, scheduled from May 13 to 17,
2024.
Teams such as sepak takraw, wrestling, archery, boxing, volleyball, baseball, basketball, taekwondo, gymnastics, arnis, billiards, para games, and other sports are conducting their training sessions in their billeting venue at Camiguin National High School and Catarman playing venues. These sessions are crucial for enhancing their skills in their respective sports and familiarizing themselves with the competition venue.
Every morning, the athletes of One Asenso MisOcc gather at
4:30 am at the Campus Ground of Camiguin National High School in Catarman and
Balbagon Elementary School in Mambajao, Camiguin, to perform their daily
exercise routine and morning praise. Their unwavering dedication and commitment
to their training are a true inspiration to others.
In addition to their rigorous
training, the athletes are also putting in countless hours rehearsing their
saludo dance routine for the upcoming NMRAA 2024. Their relentless hard work
and meticulous preparation serve as a testament to the profound impact of
discipline and perseverance in achieving one's goals.

who specialize in swimming are making significant progress and aiming to
achieve gold in the NMRAA 2024. These outstanding swimmers have been putting in
extensive effort and dedication to enhance their skills and achieve success in
their competitions. Through their impressive strokes, they showcase their
unwavering commitment to excellence.
Badminton, athletics, softball, and javelin throw athletes are putting in hours of hard work and dedication to prepare for the highly anticipated NMRAA 2024 competition. They are determined to bring home the gold medal and make their province, Misamis Occidental, proud of their accomplishments.
