  TUDELA, Misamis Occidental—Misamis Occidental achieved another milestone in the Sustainable and Inclusive Digital Landscape for Advancement and Knowledge (SIDLAK) Initiative by becoming the first province in the region to benefit from programs and projects launched by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT)-10 on February 26.   CLARIN, Misamis Occidental--The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) and the Province of Misamis Occidental have joined forces to provide internet connectivity to Barangay Dalingap in Clarin town through the Digital Transformation Initiative. Panguil Bay Bridge, 89% complete, to open August 2024

  TANGUB CITY, Misamis Occidental -- The 3.17-kilometer Panguil Bay Bridge (PBB) project in Northern Mindanao is set to open this August with 89 percent completion rate. Governor Henry S.   TANGUB CITY, Misamis Occidental -- Misamis Occidental Governor Henry S. Oaminal highlighted that the completion and operation of the Panguil Bay Bridge which will connect Tangub City in Misamis Occidental to Tubod in Lanao del Norte, is expected to boost economic growth. In a statement release recently, the governor said that the bridge will provide convenient transportation of goods and services among businesses and the general public not just in the province, but Northern Mindanao in entirety. This infrastructure project is also expected to increase enrollment in the province's higher learning institutions. Thus, making MisOcc an educational center of this part of Mindanao. Further, Gov. 'Pambansang Pabahay’ to rise in MisOcc

  CALAMBA, Misamis Occidental--A new low-cost housing project will soon rise in Calamba, Misamis Occidental, as part of the Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program of the national government  with the support of the province of Misamis Occidental. The project will cover an area of 11,093 square meters in Purok 3, Barangay Northern Poblacion, and will be named "Green Hills Village." The housing program is aimed at providing affordable housing options for the people of Misamis Occidental, and it will cost around P1.10 billion. The project will consist of 5 buildings with 6 storeys each, providing 745 affordable condominium units with essential amenities to ensure that the Calambahanon and Misamisnon families have access to decent housing. MisOcc, DSWD grant P8.5-million aid to 34 associations

  TANGUB CITY, Misamis Occidental – The Provincial Government of Misamis Occidental, together with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and local chief executives, provided P8.5M worth of livelihood assistance to 34 association representatives in the province. The livelihood grant is intended to boost the livelihood activities of the associations in the province and provide them with the necessary support to help them become productive. The program offered an incredible opportunity for individuals who wish to expand their existing enterprises and make a positive impact on their community. By taking advantage of this chance, they can explore new avenues for growth and development, which could lead to increased profitability, greater market reach, and more job opportunities for residents.
