Ordinance on enhance child welfare in MisOcc pushed




Misamis Occidental – A noteworthy event is taking place as stakeholders gather for the public hearing on Proposed Ordinance No. 09-23. This ordinance aims to revise Ordinance 01-16, also known as The Comprehensive Children Welfare's Code of Misamis Occidental. 

This gathering serves as a testament to the Provincial Government's unwavering commitment, led by Governor Henry Oaminal, to create a nurturing and supportive environment that enables children to thrive and fulfill their potential.

"This pivotal gathering signifies a momentous stride towards nurturing environments where every child can flourish, shielded from harm, and equipped with the resources they need to thrive,’’ Governor Oaminal emphasized in his solidarity message.

He stressed that the Provincial Children's Code transcends being merely a legal framework. It embodies the unwavering commitment to creating supportive communities that cherish and protect the rights of every child.

"By endorsing this code, we reaffirm our commitment to prioritizing the best interests of our children and fostering a culture that upholds their rights," Governor Oaminal added.

The public hearing provides an opportunity for stakeholders to contribute their insights and perspectives to refine the ordinance, further ensuring that it reflects the collective aspirations and needs of the children in the province. (PGMO)
