Governor Henry Oaminal brings joy with regularization announcement for 23 provincial teachers

Misamis Occidental--The 23 Provincial-paid teachers assigned to Integrated Schools were moved to tears of joy by the uplifting news shared by Governor Henry Oaminal.

The Governor met with them to announce that their dedication has earned them regular status.

He assured the teachers that, through their collective efforts, positions have been secured to regularize them all. Currently, 23 positions are available, but he promised that those not yet regularized will be included soon.

He encouraged the teachers to continue striving towards the goal of the 5Ms (Misamisnon Magpuyong Malinawon, Malambuon ug Malipayon) and to set a high standard in their profession.

“I urge you to do your best towards our 5Ms goal and set a strong example as teachers. Your work is crucial in shaping our youth. I am glad to see your dedication and look forward to your continued positive impact on each DepEd school,” the governor said.

The teachers expressed their gratitude for the good news and the various programs and projects that have benefited them, including free hospitalization and improved road infrastructure, which will make accessing their remote assigned areas much easier.

Marjorie Ann O. Caramba, who has been a Provincial-paid teacher at Maikay Integrated School in Tudela for three years, was overjoyed by the opportunity for regularization.

Governor Oaminal also provided assistance to help with the processing of their positions, further demonstrating his support for the teachers and their vital roles in education. (SMRN/PGMO)
