Panguil Bay Bridge and Korean Culture Experience ignite tourism boom at Asenso Global Gardens

TANGUB CITY, Misamis Occidental---The grand opening of the Panguil Bay Bridge (PBB) and the launch of the Korean Culture Experience at Asenso Global Gardens (AGG) have ignited a remarkable surge in tourism in Misamis Occidental. Following the bridge's inauguration, AGG welcomed thousands of enthusiastic visitors in just one day, setting a record for the provincial attraction.

Most tourists came from Lanao del Norte, thrilled to finally visit AGG. One visitor remarked, “We have always wanted to come here, but crossing into Misamis Occidental was a challenge. Now, with the Panguil Bay Bridge open, the journey is so much easier.”

Many expressed excitement about exploring other attractions in the province, emphasizing the bridge's potential to reveal more of Misamis Occidental's hidden treasures.

As the longest bridge in Mindanao, PBB serves as a vital tourism gateway, drastically reducing travel time between Lanao del Norte and Misamis Occidental. This infrastructural achievement not only enhances accessibility to AGG but also elevates its status as a premier destination for both local and international travelers.

Simultaneously, the Korean Culture Experience at AGG introduces a dynamic cultural immersion, captivating many visitors. This attraction aligns with AGG’s mission to blend nature, culture, and entertainment, solidifying its reputation as a top-tier tourism spot.

The impressive influx of tourists showcases the successful infrastructure and cultural initiatives led by Governor Henry Oaminal and the Asenso leaders. These efforts reflect the province’s strategic vision to become a leading tourism destination in Mindanao, resonating with the “Asenso Misamis Occidental” development agenda.

With the Panguil Bay Bridge and the vibrant Korean Culture Experience, Misamis Occidental's tourism future shines bright, promising increased connectivity and endless opportunities for growth across the region. (Maynard Flores/PGMO)
