MisOcc's One Family, One Professional Program: Paves the way for brighter futures for families

OZAMIZ CITY, Misamis Occidental—A total of 1,200 scholars received their allowances from the provincial and city governments alongside Rep. Sancho Fernando Oaminal's office during the recent OFOP pay-out held at the Ozamiz City Gymnasium.

With a generous allowance of ₱10,000 each for the April and May period, the scholars can use it for their school needs, including tuition and other requirements.

Governor Henry Oaminal, Mayor Indy Oaminal, and city officials spearheaded a transformative movement for education, championing the future of college student grantees in Ozamiz City.

Governor Henry Oaminal shared the vision of the province and the direction of the One Family, One Professional program. "Our goal is for you to graduate, become professionals, secure jobs, and provide an income for your families. This income will contribute to the GDP of Ozamiz City and our province," he emphasized.

Mayor Oaminal encouraged the scholars, saying, "We want to show you that if you persist and continue striving, your dreams can become a reality. We see your eagerness to study and are equally committed to supporting you. However, you must match our efforts with your own dedication. This opportunity given to you, through our collective effort and determination, will be the key to your success and the hope of your families."

He expressed confidence in the scholars' future contributions to society, stating, "I have great faith and hope that you will help the community in the future, providing more opportunities for our fellow citizens."

The scholarship program aims to secure a better future for students by helping them complete their studies, obtain stable employment opportunities, and break the generational poverty cycle in society.
