Governor Oaminal champions progress in Jimenez with inauguration, groundbreaking of key infrastructure projects
JIMENEZ, MISAMIS OCCIDENTAL – Governor
Henry S. Oaminal led the inauguration, groundbreaking, and turnover of several
major infrastructure projects in Jimenez town on March 10, 2025. These
initiatives represent a significant step in the province's path toward Asenso
Misamis Occidental, symbolizing progress, unity, and a more promising future
for its residents.
Accompanied by First District
Rep. Jason Almonte, Vice Governor Rowena Gutierrez, Board Members, and local
officials, Governor Oaminal highlighted the long-term benefits these projects
will bring to the province.
“These projects are not just
buildings; they reflect our commitment to improving public services, enhancing
livelihoods, and raising the quality of life for all,” Governor Oaminal said.
Among the key projects
inaugurated were the ₱10M road concreting and spillway in Brgy. Carmen,
designed to improve road safety and flood protection. Also unveiled was a
₱6.19M multi-purpose building in Brgy. Carmen, which will serve as a center for
education, services, and community activities. Additionally, groundbreaking
ceremonies were held for ₱6.5M multi-purpose buildings in Brgy. San Isidro,
Gata, and Dicolog, aimed at expanding access to health, education, and other
public services.
A significant addition is the
₱10M Jimenez Public Market Multi-Purpose Building, funded by Rep. Jason
Almonte. This facility is expected to boost local commerce and contribute to
economic development in the area.
Governor Oaminal emphasized that
these projects are locally funded, ensuring that investments directly benefit
the province. "This is a collective achievement—proof of what we can
accomplish when we work together. With your continued support, there are no
limits to what Misamis Occidental can achieve," he concluded.
