JIMENEZ, MISAMIS OCCIDENTAL – Governor Henry S. Oaminal led the inauguration, groundbreaking, and turnover of several major infrastructure projects in Jimenez town on March 10, 2025. These initiatives represent a significant step in the province's path toward Asenso Misamis Occidental, symbolizing progress, unity, and a more promising future for its residents.

Accompanied by First District Rep. Jason Almonte, Vice Governor Rowena Gutierrez, Board Members, and local officials, Governor Oaminal highlighted the long-term benefits these projects will bring to the province.

“These projects are not just buildings; they reflect our commitment to improving public services, enhancing livelihoods, and raising the quality of life for all,” Governor Oaminal said.

Among the key projects inaugurated were the ₱10M road concreting and spillway in Brgy. Carmen, designed to improve road safety and flood protection. Also unveiled was a ₱6.19M multi-purpose building in Brgy. Carmen, which will serve as a center for education, services, and community activities. Additionally, groundbreaking ceremonies were held for ₱6.5M multi-purpose buildings in Brgy. San Isidro, Gata, and Dicolog, aimed at expanding access to health, education, and other public services.

A significant addition is the ₱10M Jimenez Public Market Multi-Purpose Building, funded by Rep. Jason Almonte. This facility is expected to boost local commerce and contribute to economic development in the area.

Governor Oaminal emphasized that these projects are locally funded, ensuring that investments directly benefit the province. "This is a collective achievement—proof of what we can accomplish when we work together. With your continued support, there are no limits to what Misamis Occidental can achieve," he concluded.
