Oaminal's lifesaving help brings new hope to Realyn Simbajon's life
Realyn Simbajon, a resident of
Sinacaban, Misamis Occidental, is one of the many who have found a new lease on
life through the #AlagangOaminal initiative.
She recently underwent a life-saving open-heart surgery at
the Philippine Heart Center, a procedure made possible through the dedicated
support of Second District Representative Sancho Fernando “Ando” Oaminal and
Misamis Occidental Governor Henry S. Oaminal.
For years, Realyn lived with a heart condition that made
everyday life a challenge. She longed for a life free from the limitations of
her illness—a dream that seemed out of reach until the Oaminals intervened.
The Free Hospitalization Program, spearheaded by Cong. Ando
Oaminal, covered all of Realyn’s medical expenses, including transportation,
accommodation, and food.
"Your Free Hospitalization Program made it possible for
me to receive the open-heart surgery I so desperately needed at the Philippine
Heart Center. But you didn't stop there. You not only shouldered my hospital
bills but also ensured that I had everything I needed during my stay in
Manila," Simbajon shared.
Governor Henry S. Oaminal's commitment to advancing
healthcare in Misamis Occidental was crucial to Realyn’s recovery. His
leadership ensured that residents like Realyn could access essential medical
care, ultimately making a significant difference in their lives.
Local leaders, including Mayor Dello Lood and Barangay
Captain Eulalia Regalado, also provided unwavering support, helping Simbajon navigate the challenges she faced.
"My journey to a new heart was filled with challenges,
but also with profound love, support, and hope. I am deeply grateful to
everyone who made this possible," Realyn expressed.
Simbajon’s story is one of resilience and gratitude. The
support she received from her community gave her the strength to overcome her
health challenges and embrace a new chapter in her life. Her journey is a
powerful example of the impact of community support and the importance of
accessible healthcare, underscoring the difference compassionate leadership can
make in the lives of those in need.(SN/PGMO)
