Misamisnons demand better healthcare services at MHARSMC
OZAMIZ CITY, Misamis Occidental--Frustration is mounting among Misamisnons over healthcare services at Mayor Hilarion A. Ramiro Sr. Medical Center (M.H.A.R.S.) in Ozamiz. Despite the Asenso administration's efforts, hospital services have not met public expectations.
Daghan kaayo nanginahanglan og trabaho, dapat pang ilisan
nana sila tungod sa walay maayong serbisyo.”
Patients and their families have reported significant delays
in both admission and discharge processes, sometimes extending several hours or
even days longer than expected. This frustration is compounded by perceived
unresponsiveness from hospital staff.
proseso nila.”
A particularly tragic incident has brought these issues into
sharp focus: a patient in urgent need of oxygen faced severe delays and errors,
ultimately resulting in their death. This case has intensified calls for
substantial reforms in hospital management and patient care.
The community's message is clear: there is a strong demand
for improved service standards and greater respect from hospital staff. Many
residents are calling for a revamp of hospital procedures, including the
removal of ineffective staff and the hiring of more empathetic and efficient
personnel.
In conclusion, while the city's and province’s health
programs are appreciated, there is an urgent need for MHARSMC to address these
service deficiencies. Residents are urging immediate leadership changes to
enhance the quality of healthcare and prevent future distressing experiences.
