Baliangao School of Fisheries kicks off Brigada Eskwela

 


Baliangao, Misamis Occidental—The Baliangao School of Fisheries formally kicked off this year’s Brigada Eskwela, a nationwide initiative aimed at preparing schools for the upcoming academic year.

Governor Henry S. Oaminal emphasized the critical role of education in the Asenso Misamis Occidental administration.

"Education is one of the cornerstones of our Asenso Misamis Occidental vision nga ang Misamisnon Magpuyong Malinawon, Malambuon, ug Malipayon,’’ Governor Oaminal said.

“It is through quality education that we empower our youth to dream big, aim high, and achieve greatness,’’ he added.

Governor Oaminal highlighted that providing quality education is a collective effort, underscoring the true essence of Brigada Eskwela.

The initiative encouraged community members, parents, teachers, and students to work together in preparing and improving school facilities.

The event marked the beginning of a week-long series of activities where volunteers will clean, repair, and repaint classrooms, as well as donate school supplies and equipment.

The successful kickoff by the DEPED Misamis Occidental Division, led by Schools Division Superintendent Reynaldo Manuel, at the Baliangao School of Fisheries sets a positive tone for the entire province, fostering a sense of unity and shared responsibility towards education. (PGMO)
