Vice Governor Gutierrez inspires OFOP scholars to value education, achieve their dreams
OROQUIETA CITY, Misamis
Occidental—Vice Governor Rowena Gutierrez emphasized the transformative power
of education in personal development, urging students to persevere in their
studies with dedication and faith, assuring them that their hard work will lead
to success.
Directly addressing the scholars,
she expressed, "You are all blessed to be chosen as beneficiaries of the
OFOP program. Value and prioritize your efforts so that the opportunities
provided by the provincial government are not wasted. This is not for us, but
for you. We will be happy to see every family in Misamis Occidental have at
least one professional who can support their family. It will bring us joy to
see you complete your education and achieve your dreams."
In a recent address, Gutierrez
delved into the profound impact of the transformative Asenso Pamilya: One
Family, One Professional (OFOP) program. Spearheaded by the compassionate
leadership of Governor Henry Oaminal, this initiative aims to uplift the lives
of Misamisnons through education.
“This Asenso Pamilya: One Family,
One Professional program is one of the initiatives of our beloved governor for
our province," Vice Governor Gutierrez said. "If you know his life
story, from his childhood to his youth and up to now, Governor Oaminal’s
journey is incredibly inspiring."
She underscored Governor
Oaminal's profound empathy for students grappling with financial constraints.
Having faced similar challenges himself, the governor intimately understands
the hurdles of pursuing education without adequate financial support.
Vice Governor Gutierrez concluded
with a powerful message, "Your success is our success. As part of the Team
Asenso family, always remember that you are the hope of your town and the
entire province of Misamis Occidental."
As the semester ends, grantees
with no failing grades are 100% assured of continuing their grant into the next
semester.(SN/PGMO)
