Misamis Occidental bids to host 2026 Palarong Pambansa

 


The Provincial Government of Misamis Occidental, alongside two other LGUs, Zamboanga City, and Agusan del Sur, passionately advocated for their bid to host the esteemed Palarong Pambansa.

Governor Henry S. Oaminal of Misamis Occidental, known for his unwavering commitment to the development of the province, eloquently elucidated the myriad benefits of choosing Misamis Occidental as the venue.

These advantages include convenient accessibility, robust security measures, a rich tapestry of tourism attractions, well-equipped sports facilities, ample billeting accommodations, and other pertinent factors.

Governor Oaminal also underscored the socio-economic impact of hosting the Palarong Pambansa after 64 years.

Among the highlighted benefits to the province is the economic boost, wherein the event can ignite the local economy through increased tourism, and heightened spending on accommodations, food, transportation, and souvenirs.
