Jimenez Medicare Community Hospital now an accredited Animal Bite Treatment Center

 



Misamis Occidental—Jimenez Medicare Community Hospital (JMCH) has achieved a remarkable feat in efforts to enhance local healthcare accessibility as it is now accredited as an Animal Bite Treatment Center.

The provincial government touted this achievement as it marks a significant milestone in its patient care initiatives for individuals residing in Jimenez and its nearby municipalities.

In the past, patients seeking treatment for animal bites were redirected to other accredited centers. As a result, patients have to suffer in long queues and financial burdens.

Hence, Governor Henry S. Oaminal shepherded the accreditation process by the Department of Health (DOH) for the JMCH’s animal bite status.

The accreditation ensures that JMCH can now provide prompt and free medical care for animal bite cases to residents in Jimenez, Sinacaban, Panaon, Aloran, and Tudela.

“This development is a major step forward in ensuring that the healthcare needs of the community are met effectively and efficiently,” said the provincial government. (PGMO)

Gov. Oaminal secures ₱60 million budget for OFOP program from Speaker Romualdez

OROQUIETA CITY, Misamis Occidental—Governor Henry S. Oaminal secured additional funding worth ₱60 million for the One Family, One Professional (OFOP) program and an additional ₱15 million for farmers during his visit to House Speaker Martin Romualdez in Manila.
