Governor Oaminal designated as acting battalion commander


Misamis Occidental Governor and Philippine Army reserve officer, Lt. Col. Henry S. Oaminal is designated as Acting Battalion Commander of the 903rd Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion of 9th Regional Community Reserve Group, Philippine Army.


Misamis Occidental--The Reserve Command Philippine Army designated Misamis Occidental Governor and reserve officer, Lieutenant Colonel Henry S. Oaminal as Acting Battalion Commander of 903rd Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion of 9th Regional Community Defense Group Reserve Command Philippine Army, effective March 1, 2024.

Upon designation, Lt. Col. Oaminal will be responsible for leading this crucial battalion of reserve soldiers, who play a vital role in supporting the Philippine Army during emergencies, natural disasters, and other scenarios that require additional manpower.

As part of the Reserve Command, the 903rd Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion is tasked with providing support to the regular forces of the Philippine Army.  These include being mobilized during times of need to provide support and assistance to the regular forces, helping to strengthen national defense and security.

The dedication of reserve soldiers like those in the 903rd Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion is invaluable to the Philippine Army as they are a crucial asset in bolstering the country's readiness and adaptability in safeguarding its citizens and interests.

Gov. Oaminal secures ₱60 million budget for OFOP program from Speaker Romualdez

OROQUIETA CITY, Misamis Occidental—Governor Henry S. Oaminal secured additional funding worth ₱60 million for the One Family, One Professional (OFOP) program and an additional ₱15 million for farmers during his visit to House Speaker Martin Romualdez in Manila.
