Governor Oaminal continues to deliver: Inaugurates Projects, distributes educational assistance and aid to Misamisnons post-election

Misamis Occidental — Even after the elections, Governor Henry S. Oaminal continues to serve the people of Misamis Occidental with full dedication—delivering infrastructure, educational assistance, agricultural, financial, and livelihood support across the province. He holds daily meetings and strategic planning discussions to ensure the continued rollout of programs for long-term provincial development.

On May 27, he inspected the ongoing development of the Asenso Misamis Occidental Resort and Aquamarine Park, a key project aimed at boosting tourism and creating local jobs. On June 4, he inaugurated the province’s first-ever rice processing system in Tangub and Oroquieta City, offering free milling and drying services to all farmers.

Governor Oaminal led the OFOP educational assistance payout on June 3 and 9, benefiting over 3,200 scholars. On June 5, he also turned over livelihood support and provided ₱10,000 in start-up capital to beneficiaries and their families. More than 100 individuals in crisis situations received ₱20,000 in financial aid.

Despite the holiday on June 8, Governor Oaminal remained hands-on in advancing programs, including talks to host the Rainforest Challenge (RFC)—a major tourism event that could bring nationwide attention to the province.

In Barangay Catadman, following the June 6 fire, the Governor extended immediate aid and committed housing assistance through coordinated efforts with the LGU and DSWD.

“Service doesn’t end with the campaign,” said Gov. Oaminal. “We will not stop until every Misamisnon experiences real progress.”

Under the Alagang Oaminal banner, Governor Henry S. Oaminal continues to lead Misamis Occidental forward—with unity, compassion, and action. (SN/PGMO)
