Senator Pia Cayetano to visit Misamis Occidental for women’s empowerment, development initiatives

 


MISAMIS OCCIDENTAL---Senator Pia Cayetano, a staunch advocate for women's empowerment, is set to visit Misamis Occidental tomorrow, March 19, to engage with local leaders and women's groups and distribute developmental toys to daycare centers across the province.

Joining her in this significant event are Governor Henry Oaminal, Second District Representative Sancho “Ando” Oaminal, and First District Representative Jason Almonte, highlighting the strong collaboration between the national and local governments in advancing community development.

As part of her unwavering support for the province, Senator Cayetano has allocated P100 million to fund the Asenso Misamis Occidental Medical Center, reinforcing healthcare services for Misamisnons.

Additionally, she has committed another P100 million for the construction of the Asenso Misamis Occidental Resort and Aquamarine Park (AMORAP), a key tourism and economic development initiative.

Her visit reaffirms her dedication to women’s empowerment and her commitment to fostering sustainable growth in Misamis Occidental. (SN/PGMO)
