OROQUIETA, Misamis Occidental—In
a dedicated effort to enhance healthcare services in the province, Governor
Henry S. Oaminal remains steadfast in his commitment to bringing essential
public health services closer to the people through the provincial government’s
delivery of quality healthcare services to all Misamisnons.
During the Management Committee
meeting of the Misamis Occidental Provincial Hospital on Tuesday, July 16, at
the Asenso Misamis Occidental Sports and Cultural Center, Gov. Oaminal
emphasized the necessity of an inclusive strategy to strengthen the province’s
healthcare services.
Among the pivotal updates
discussed was the progress on the Hemodialysis Unit at the provincial hospital.
Governor Oaminal stressed the importance of expediting its completion to
provide essential services to the community. The unit is expected to alleviate
the burden on patients needing regular dialysis treatments, ensuring they
receive quality healthcare closer to home.
Another significant topic on the
agenda was the hospital's readiness to meet the requirements for renewing its
license under the Red Light Emergency Department (RLED) standards. Compliance
