During the Management Committee meeting of the Misamis Occidental Provincial Hospital on Tuesday, July 16, at the Asenso Misamis Occidental Sports and Cultural Center, Gov. Oaminal emphasized the necessity of an inclusive strategy to strengthen the province’s healthcare services.

Among the pivotal updates discussed was the progress on the Hemodialysis Unit at the provincial hospital. Addressing transparency and efficiency, the committee reviewed the status of Philhealth claims processing. The meeting also covered updates on various social service initiatives aimed at enhancing public health outreach and community welfare programs. These efforts underscore Governor Oaminal's commitment to improving the overall quality of life for all residents, particularly those in vulnerable situations.

Governor Oaminal highlighted the crucial role of medical chiefs and doctors in effectively addressing health challenges and ensuring the well-being of the populace, especially those at the grassroots level.

Insights into the development of the new Asenso Medical Center, a flagship project integrating advanced medical technologies and expanded healthcare services, were also shared.
